Sometimes, it is just time for change. That change needs to take place in Indiana’s 51st House District race in 2010. The current incumbent, Dick Dodge, is a likeable enough person, but he is languishing in his role as the representative of an area that encompasses the entire area of Steuben County and most of DeKalb County.
In DeKalb County, the district contains Fairfield, Smithfield, Grant, Union, Jackson, Franklin, Troy, Wilmington, and Stafford townships. The towns of Auburn, Waterloo, Butler, Hamilton, Ashley, Hudson, Helmer, Pleasant Lake, Angola, Orland, Fremont, and Clear Lake are all included in the district.
His challenger, Codie Ross, is a youthful breath of fresh air. He lives in DeKalb County with his family and works in Fort Wayne as an associate attorney with a local Fort Wayne law firm.
Codie has a page on Facebook and needs as many people as possible to sign up. So go to Facebook, type in “Codie Ross”, and support Codie for Indiana’s 51st District House of Representative.
Codie will be speaking tomorrow morning, August 22, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. at the Third District Breakfast Club at Brevin’s Restaurant in Churubusco – better known as Turtle Town USA. Join us and learn more about the candidate for the District 51 House of Represenatives.
