About Me – Charlotte A. Weybright
I own an older home in the West Central historic district in Fort Wayne, Indiana, directly across from the St. Marys River. I have four grown sons and nine grandchildren - five granddaughters and four grandsons.
I enjoy working on my home and gardening, and I enjoy all types of crafts. I have my own library, now approaching 1,000 books. I am also a vegetarian and have been since 1990.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University and a Juris Doctorate from the Valparaiso University School of Law.
I enjoy the political scene with all of its passions and faults. Writing is one of my favorite activities, but it seems that I never have as much time as I would like to devote to the task.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.

POLL SHOWS CLOSE GOVERNOR’S RACE – DANIELS’ CAMP PLAIN PUZZLED

JILL LONG THOMPSON PICKS UP UNION ENDORSEMENTS
This past week was good to JLT. The Indiana AFL-CIO endorsed Democrat Jill Long Thompson on Thursday, ending questions about the group’s support for her gubernatorial bid. The group is a federation of 800 local and international unions that represents … Continue reading
BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!
How many times do we hear that saying! So since I didn’t get an article written after our Democratic convention in June, I thought I would post a few pictures. No words of wisdom, no spouting of ideologies, just pictures. … Continue reading
DANIELS’ HYPOCRISY – OUT-OF-STATE CONTRIBUTIONS ROLL IN
After disclosure of campaign funds in the quarterly report, the Daniels’ camp began screeching about Jill Long Thompson’s contributions from out of state. JLT received substantial contributions from out-of-state donors, and the Daniels’ people would have you believe that Daniels’ … Continue reading
GOT MONEY? LONG THOMPSON GETS THE CASH
In a strong showing of financial support, Jill Long Thompson raised $1.6 million in the second quarter of 2008. That figure darn near matches Daniels’ $1.8 million. Could it be that the powers that be in the Daniels’ camp have … Continue reading
