About Me – Charlotte A. Weybright
I own an older home in the West Central historic district in Fort Wayne, Indiana, directly across from the St. Marys River. I have four grown sons and nine grandchildren - five granddaughters and four grandsons.
I enjoy working on my home and gardening, and I enjoy all types of crafts. I have my own library, now approaching 1,000 books. I am also a vegetarian and have been since 1990.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University and a Juris Doctorate from the Valparaiso University School of Law.
I enjoy the political scene with all of its passions and faults. Writing is one of my favorite activities, but it seems that I never have as much time as I would like to devote to the task.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.

NEWTOWN: ANOTHER TRAGEDY; ANOTHER MEDIA FEEDING FRENZY
Just another media day in our lives. The Newtown mass killing is now generating the standard 24-hour coverage that has become expected of such tragedies. And, as can be expected, more than likely, a certain pattern will be followed. Americans … Continue reading
RAINING ON SHINE’S PARADE
Last week had to be a little traumatic for poor Steve Shine and the Republicans. After all, he and his buddies felt so threatened by our Democratic convention that they sprang for $10,000 worth of air time to try to … Continue reading
THE FALLACY OF THE KEYSTONE XL
The Keystone XL (the KXL) has caused quite a stir – Republicans are weeping and wringing their hands that 20,000 jobs have been lost and that we will never free ourselves from our dependence on foreign energy. What a misguided … Continue reading
MARLIN WHO?
Our Third District Representative is pretty much a non-starter when it comes to helping our district and its residents. Since he took office in 2010, Stutzman has spent a great deal of time raising money to ensure his hold on … Continue reading
EVERGLADES ADVENTURE
I am fascinated by all things in nature. And, what better place to see a wide variety than in Florida? My oldest son, Scott, and his wife, Lora, live in Sebring, Florida, so I decided to take off – once … Continue reading
